Let's Gro old, in a healthy way!
On Friday 21st and Saturday, November 22nd is the day where the Let's Gro event will experience its 2nd edition!

Let's Gro is an initiative of the municipality of Groningen to the residents of the City (and other interested parties) to show what developments are going on in the City. Central to this is: 'the future of Groningen'. Topics include start-ups, health, energy, economy, housing, food, etc. Admission is free!

During these two days to numerous organizations in various locations in the city to see play what developments there. The Healthy Ageing Campus is together with partners from the network also represented to show what is happening in the field of Healhty Ageing. These actvities will be showcased at the Stadhuis on the Grote Markt in Groningen. Please find below an overview of presenations and content of the Expo.

Friday, November 21st

Healthwise (14:30 to 15:30)

14.30 to 14.50 Introducing Healthwise: An Interdisciplinary Centre of Expertise on Health  Economics and Healthcare Management. By Prof dr ir Kees Ahaus.
14.50 to 15.00 Interactive Dilemma: Treatment or Payment? By Dr Jochen Mierau
15.00 to 15.30 Snacks and Sins. By Dr Laetitia Mulder


Open meeting "Healthy Ageing Cooperative Business" (16:00 to 17:00)
Together smarter, more effective, more innovative, more profitable, stronger.
Attention of the new cooperative goes out to include the development of joint projects, effectively applying for grants and organizing smarter purchasing and maintenance, resulting in cooperation in the field of innovation and profitability. Is a strong interrelationship balanced with cooperation with research institutions and governments.
 



Saturday, November 22nd

Dinosaurs Den (10:00 to 12:00)

Dinosaur Den: Researchers, developers and entrepreneurs in the field of healthy aging have the opportunity to their product, idea or research pitching for a critical audience: a group of 65s. Who dares? Who slinks off and who stays?

Sick or Healthy - Presentation & Debate (15:00 to 16:00)
In Healthy Ageing the defect is no longer central to the health, but attention to resilience, resilience and resistance in a life of uncertainty and kansen.Inclusief the chance of 'breakdown'.
