Transnational funding program for SMEs: Deadline 13th of March
The most recent economic forecasts are showing positive signals, the euro area will return to growth next year and the EU will close 2013 without losing GDP, coming back to a 1.4 per cent growth in 2014. One important initiatives is Eurostars, with the direct involvement of private actors and a clear commitment for high technological projects will boost European economy and increase employment.
Eurostars is a program that supports research-performing small and medium enterprises, which develop innovative products, processes and services, to gain competitive advantage. Eurostars does this by providing funding for transnational innovation projects; the products of which are then rapidly commercialized.
The Eurostars program is publically financed with a total budget of 1.14 billion euro and is currently supported by 33 EUREKA countries and the European Union.
