Healthy Ageing Campus Netherlands makes top 100 ranking
Recently the University of Groningen announced it made the top 100 in several prestigious ranking lists.* This weekend the Healthy Ageing Campus Netherlands followed suit by breaking into the top 100 of the 10x10 relay of the RUNWinschoten.
The RUN Winschoten is the oldest ultramarathon in the Netherlands, and includes individual 100KM and 50 KM races and a 10x10 KM relay. For the first time the Healthy Ageing Campus Netherlands entered a team. It was a mix of runners from Zorg Innovatie Forum, LifeLines, UMCG and Triade Real Estate. All of them working on the smartest kilometer in the Netherlands.
Even though it practically rained all day, the smartest KM was pretty quick as well. Finishing the 100 KM total in 8 hours, 41 minutes and 1 second. This lead to an 89th place in the overall ranking and a 16th place in the services/government Category. Off course there is still room for improvement. So “the day after” is also the first day of preparation for next years edition: September 13th 2014. Are you interested in joining the Healthy Ageing Campus Netherlands team?
