Patients satisfied with their stay at the UMCG

Like last year, the University Medical Center patients asked about their experiences to measure patient satisfaction and to see whether changes to the care should be made. The study shows that patients are satisfied with the UMC's, and the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) in particular.

Patients gave the UMCG an average 8.2 and gained the hospital shared first place. For many aspects of the care they knew the UMCG (joint) first or second prize. In May, more than 12,500 patients who had visited an outpatient clinic in the UMCG were or were included, asked through a questionnaire.

The study showed that patients outpatient care an average of 8.4 giving and caring for recording an 8.2. When asked whether the patient would recommend the hospital to family and friends UMCG received the most positive responses, and also when it comes to accessibility scores UMCG high.
