More business activity for individual health and behavior

The Province of Groningen, the UMCG and the regional SMEs will invest 3 million in the next three years to strengthen the further cooperation and increasing (business) activity in the field of Personalized Health. By stimulating the cooperation of the UMCG/RUG and regional SMEs we can accelerate the movement of attracting and expanding companies that want to work together with knowledge institutions in order to develop products and services for Personalized Health.

The intensive cooperation between companies and knowledge institutions results in quality employment on the Healthy Ageing Campus and elsewhere in the region. We aim at 300 to 400 new jobs in the next five years. To achieve this, we strive to launch three to five start-up companies and so-called spin-outs.
